KATO N Gauge - E235 Series 1000 Subseries Yokosuka/Sōbu Rapid Line - Extension Set B-10-1704
This product reproduces the F-08 formation (basic formation) and J-08 formation (additional formation set) belonging to the Kamakura Rolling Stock Center. It accurately depicts the emergency power supply equipment installed in the motor car unit of the basic formation, the distinctive air reservoir tank installed on the roof of the E234 motor car, the main circuit storage battery under the floor of the E234 motor car, and the related equipment under the floor of the E235 motor car.
The Green Car realistically reproduces the form seen on the E235 series 1000 Green Cars (Salo E234-1008 and Salo E235-1008), including the shape of the air conditioner and the roof without equipment boxes.
The skirt of Kuha E234-1008 and Kuha E235-1108 feature a two-tier skirt design compatible with electric connections, just like the actual train. Door switches are also included. The front couplers on the leading cars are: Kuha E234-1008/Kuha E235-1108...coupling couplers, Kuha E235-1008/Kuha E234-1108...dummy couplers. Intermediate sections use body-mounted close-coupling couplers. Slotless motors provide smooth and quiet running performance. The included MoHa E235-1108 unit has no traction tires.
Front destination display “Local JO Yokosuka Line-Sōbu Line” is pre-installed. Replacement front displays “Rapid JO Yokosuka Line-Sōbu Line” and blank are included.
Side displays are printed in black. Destination display stickers are included. The basic set (4 cars) fits into the vehicle book-style case of Expansion Set A, while Expansion Set B (3 cars) fits into the vehicle book case of the accessory set. *Model trains are powered via the track system. No batteries are used for running, lighting, or illumination.
