KATO N Gauge 40000 Series Basic Set 10-2019 This set reproduces the 40105 formation featuring convertible long/cross seating, also used for subway through-service operations. It realistically recreates the gently curved front end, sleek aluminum body shape, and colorful livery. \
The long/cross-seat conversion seats are configured as cross seats, with cars 1-9 facing Hanno and car 10 facing Ikebukuro. The partner zone is also reproduced.\
Reproduces the form of the intermediate car (40405) with the added digital radio antenna and IR antenna removed from the roof of the leading car.\
The adoption of a slotless motor achieves smooth and quiet running performance. \
Body-mounted close-coupling couplers without hooks are used for intermediate connections on all cars. Dummy couplers are used at the front ends.\
Head/tail lights and front destination displays illuminate (using white LEDs).\
The front display shows “74M/S-TRAIN Motomachi-Chukagai” pre-installed. Includes interchangeable front displays: “S-TRAIN Seibu-Chichibu” “Haijima Liner Haijima,” and “Plain” are included as replacement front displays.\
Side displays are printed in black. Destination display stickers are included.\
The basic set and vehicles from Expansion Set B can be stored in the bookcase included with Expansion Set A.\
