KATO N Gauge - “Federal Republic of Germany” Formation - 7-Car Basic Set - 10-2024
Features body bands in the colors of the German flag and reproduces the formation name “Bundesrepublik Deutschland” on the sides of the leading car. \
Lettering, door edges, door switches, etc., are printed.\
Compared to previous products, this set reproduces the actual 13-car formation by coupling a 2nd class car identical to car 3 to car 4.\
Trailer car bogies feature exposed wheels with brake discs. Black-stained wheels are used to match the actual train's appearance.\
Motor cars are included one each in the basic set and the extension set. To coordinate with the motor car, the motor car in the extension set does not have traction tires.\
The use of slotless motors achieves smooth and quiet running performance.\
A dedicated lighting board for interior lights, sized to match the car body length, is pre-installed. It can be illuminated by combining it with the separately sold LED Interior Light Clear. \
The intermediate coupling features an easy-to-connect coupler that reproduces the full-perimeter hook.\
Head/tail lights illuminate. The headlight uses a warm white LED.\
DCC-friendly.\
