Features the small double windows characteristic of the cold-weather adapted 51-type for draft prevention, and the TR230A bogie with gear-type axle generator.
The Ohafu 51 has illuminated tail lights (with an off switch).
The Ohafu 51 has inspection markings printed on both end faces. Weight: 30.2 tons, Inspection Marking: “2-1 Naebo Workshop”.
