Easily achieve essential panel lining for scale model painting techniques
This paint is specifically for “panel lining”—emphasizing dimensionality by flowing a darker paint than the base color into panel lines (recessed molds) on aircraft models, car models, etc.
Pre-diluted to the ideal concentration for panel lining, simply shake the bottle to mix the paint. Use the brush attached to the cap to start work immediately. Just place the brush on the recessed mold, and the paint flows along the mold.
Any excess paint can be wiped away after drying using a craft cotton swab moistened with enamel solvent.
This makes the critical step of panel lining to sharpen your model's appearance significantly easier.
Use lacquer-based or acrylic-based paints for the base coat.
Dark Gray is ideal for areas where black would be too dark, such as panel lines on aircraft with gray or silver bases.
