TAMIYA 1/350 Ship Series Japanese Destroyer Yukikaze Movie “YUKIKAZE” Special Edition Plastic Model Kit 25218 The battle-hardened destroyer Yukikaze fought from the early stages of the Pacific War until its end. This plastic model assembly kit recreates her appearance during Operation Ten-Go in April 1945, when she was assigned to escort the battleship Yamato. Released to coincide with the movie “YUKIKAZE,” it features special packaging inspired by scenes from the film. Includes the movie pamphlet. Finished size: 1/350 scale, overall length 338mm, overall width 31mm. Faithfully modeled to capture her powerful appearance, including reinforced anti-aircraft machine guns and radar. The hull features a left-right split design, with finely detailed representation of the outer plating seams and external wiring. The anchor chain and propeller shaft are made of high-quality metal. Machine guns throughout the model utilize laser-cutting technology for a detailed finish, including muzzle flash suppressors and heat shields. The two main turrets and two torpedo tubes remain rotatable after assembly via polycaps. Includes a display stand for showcasing the model in full hull configuration.
