Product Description
The culmination of British tanks born from the resolve to defeat Germany
The Comet appeared late in World War II as a British tank capable of countering powerful German tanks like the Tiger and Panther.
Based on the Cromwell main battle tank's basic hull structure, it mounted the Q.F. 77mm gun as its main armament—a weapon rivalling the 17-pounder, then considered Britain's most potent anti-tank gun.
The turret was enlarged to accommodate the new main gun, giving it a more modern appearance.
Making its combat debut during the March 1945 Rhine Crossing Operation, the Comet primarily fought in infantry support roles, fully demonstrating the 77mm gun's formidable power.
Its well-balanced performance in firepower, mobility, and protection earned high praise from both its crew and infantrymen.

Based on research of the actual vehicle, this model vividly captures its sleek style featuring a flat-panel hull and long-barreled 77mm gun. The front surfaces of the hull and turret realistically depict the texture of cast metal.
The canvas cover on the gun mantlet is also a highlight.
The tracks use a linked design with straight sections as a single unit.
For the duct at the rear of the hull, known as the Normandy cowl, you can choose between a type where the left and right sides are integrated or a type where they are separate.
The searchlight lenses on the turret sides are clear parts.
Includes two half-body figures of crew members in winter uniforms and two types of markings.
