This plastic model assembly kit depicts the Type 1 Land-Based Attack Aircraft Model 11. Early in the Pacific War, it attacked the British battleship Prince of Wales and cruiser Repulse off Malaya, achieving the first naval victory in history where a battleship was sunk solely by aircraft while underway.
The kit faithfully captures the substantial style, including the thick fuselage designed to carry large torpedoes.
The interior details, such as the instrument panel, bomb sight, and bulkheads, are rendered with impressive three-dimensionality.
Flap can be mounted in the down position. The pilot's upper canopy, upper gunner's canopy, and engine cowling flaps are optional open/closed.
The bomb bay can be configured for bomb load, torpedo load, or reconnaissance flight.
Includes one Type 91 torpedo, twelve 60kg bombs, and three crew figures. Includes six types of markings.
