but his mother, Empress Dowager Taidula, doubted Janibek's qualifications.
Amidst this, Empress Dowager Taidula suddenly fainted and lost her sight in both eyes.
Alarmed, Janibek summoned Alexei, the Russian Pope reputed to perform miracles, to Ordo. He threatened to burn Moscow to the ground if Alexei failed to restore his mother's sight...
