Product Introduction
Based on research of the actual vehicle, this model thoroughly recreates the “early production model” of the BMW 2002tii, the compact sports saloon that raced through its era. The BMW 02 “Maruni” series represents the quintessential compact sports saloon of the 60s and 70s.
The BMW 2002tii, introduced in 1971, adopted a Kugelfischer mechanical injection engine, leveraging engine tuning technology honed in touring car championships.
This kit reproduces the early model with its round tail lights.
Meticulously researched from the actual vehicle, it precisely captures every detail from the exterior form to the interior.
Chrome parts include the body molding, front grille, bumper, mirrors, door handles, and fuel filler cap.
The body parts are white, with wheels reproducing the optional aluminum wheels.
