Product Introduction
The “rolling work of art” designed by Giugiaro: the Isuzu 117 Coupe.
The Isuzu 117 Coupe is a 4-seater, 2-door sports coupe released in 1968.
Its sleek design was created by Giorgetto Giugiaro, one of Italy's most renowned industrial designers.
The initial model featured body panels with extremely thin pillars and other processes achievable only by hand, earning it the nickname “Handmade Model”.
This kit faithfully recreates the earliest model using completely new molds based on thorough research of the actual vehicle. The body parts are white, while the front grille, front/rear bumpers, wheel caps, fender mirrors, dual exhaust tips, and side moldings are glossy chrome parts. Bonus parts are included to recreate the early “117 Coupe EC” model equipped with electronic fuel injection, sold from 1970: a single exhaust tip and the EC logo mark for the rear.
