The American crayfish, native to the United States, was introduced to Japan and can be found in rice paddies and slow-flowing waters.
While mostly reddish or brownish in color, it is also known to exhibit color variations like blue or white depending on its environment.
It typically measures 8-12 cm in length and has a lifespan of about 5 years.
・Clear red parts are included for the outer surface.
・Each individual part is a light red, but overlapping parts creates a moderate depth of color.
・Eye parts are available in clear red and glossy black, allowing selection based on the desired finished look. ・Internal structural parts use a similar red hue to prevent diffuse reflection and enhance visibility of the outer form. ・This kit features a single American crayfish motif. ・Completed, it boasts an impressive total length of 23cm—larger than the real thing. ・Runners are designed for easy removal by hand, making it beginner-friendly.
