“Evangelion” refers to the fictional humanoid weapons featured in the 2007 film “Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone,” directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Khara, Inc.
The official name of Evangelion is “Universal Human-Type Final Battle Weapon Artificial Human Evangelion,” referred to as EVA within the work.
