Chibimaru Godzilla Series: A series that realistically portrays its distinctive features while maintaining an adorable, deformed appearance.
Mecha King Ghidorah first appeared in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, a 1991 film in the Heisei VS series of Toho's Godzilla films.
It resembled a three-headed Western dragon, but in the film, its form was lost and it was in a state of suspended animation for a long time. However, it was revived as a fusion of a mecha and a living creature, with its central head and wings artificially reconstructed, giving it its distinctive appearance. The Chibimaru Godzilla series features a lineup of cutely deformed characters from past Godzilla films. Assembly is easy, even for those with no prior experience with plastic kits. Assembly is simple, requiring no glue. The touch-gate design allows parts to be removed from the runners by hand, without the need for nippers. The parts are pre-colored to match your image, so painting is not required. Adding detailed coloring and design details is as simple as applying the included pre-cut stickers. The completed figure is small enough to display and take up little space, making it ideal for collections. (Product Specifications) Along with parts from the currently available King Ghidorah (released in 2017), the Mecha King Ghidorah parts are produced using a new mold (2025). Pre-colored parts allow you to recreate your desired color scheme without painting. The snap-fit assembly method allows for assembly without the need for glue.・With a total of 27 runners and 179 parts, this is a substantial addition to the Chibimaru Godzilla series.
・Although it is a non-scale, deformed model, it accurately recreates Mecha-King Ghidorah's distinctive features.
・The completed size is approximately 16 x 20 x 22 cm (*20 cm width when wings are fully extended).
(Product Features)
▪️The product features articulated parts in the head, torso, wings, legs, and tail, allowing for a high degree of poseability.
・The head (lower jaw and tongue) is articulated with a ball joint, allowing for minimal movement restrictions and easy posing.
・The original neck on each side has three points of articulation, all of which are ball jointed for free movement.
・The central mecha-style neck has six points of articulation.
・The legs have two points of articulation, and the tail has four.
▪️The shape is realistic while retaining distinctive deformed parts. The central head features intricate detailing, including sharp antennae on both sides and fangs within the mouth. The laser cannons in the mouth (upper jaw/palate) are separate parts, making them stand out. The mechanical head's eyeballs are clear green and feature specially colored parts, creating a radiant appearance. The original eyeballs are represented by pre-cut stickers, with three color tones and patterns to choose from. The original face features horns and scaly surfaces, recreated in three dimensions, and is made into a single part from the horns to the nose for easy assembly. The large armored torso, which houses the machine hand used to capture Godzilla, is provided as a special part. The main torso is designed with three parts: front, back, and back, for ease of assembly. The upper torso features a cockpit modified from the Time Machine KID, which is provided as a separate part. The nerve conductors that transmit commands from the cockpit are provided as special metallic spring pipe parts. The conductor moves flexibly, following the movement of the neck. The choker (collar) and torso support to which the conductor parts are connected are also newly designed parts. The left and right original necks also feature new, dedicated parts that are compatible with the chokers. The armored shins of the legs are made into new, dedicated parts. The machine hands also feature new, dedicated compatible parts for the original lower body shape. The soles of the feet feature new, dedicated parts with textured skin, ensuring a realistic appearance even when in flight. The parts are colored in five colors: gold, silver, white, red, and clear green. The total number of parts is 179. Parts feature an under-touch gate design, allowing them to be removed from the runners by hand, even without the need for nippers.
(- Please note that due to the use of under-touch gates, it is possible that parts may unavoidably become detached from the runners due to impacts during transport, etc.)
▪️ The original eyeballs, the inside of the mouth, and the detailed coloring of the mecha's neck and wings are reproduced with the included stickers.
- The included stickers are pre-cut and made of a material with good conformability for easy application.
- Two types of stickers are included: one for coloring the original parts and one for coloring the mecha parts.
▪️ The box art is an original work by Yuji Kaida.- The 70th anniversary version comes with a mouse pad featuring the box art, which is not included in the regular version.
