Fujimi Models - Collectible Warship Series - No. 19 - End-of-War Remnant Vessels Set - Plastic Model Kit The final days of the Combined Fleet. Vessels remaining at Kure Naval Port and Sasebo Naval Port at the end of the war. Newly molded 1/3000 scale “Hiyō-class Aircraft Carrier” and “Unryū-class Aircraft Carrier” “Aircraft Carrier Ryūhō,” “Heavy Cruiser Aoba (1945)”.\

Following defeat at the Battle of the Philippine Sea in October 1944, the Imperial Japanese Navy was unable to launch organized operations thereafter, effectively marking the end of the Combined Fleet. \
However, remnant vessels and ships under construction that had not yet been completed remained in Japan's inland seas and the Shonan Islands area.\
At Kure at the end of the war, ships like the Amagi, damaged and grounded by air raids, the Ise, Hyūga, and Haruna, and the Tone, Aoba, and Ōyodo were present. At Sasebo, ships like the Hōshō and Kasagi were afloat.
