The product features a full hull specification allowing reproduction down to the keel, and includes a display stand for enjoyment after completion. The lower hull is constructed from a single molded part, with the propeller section and rudder as separate components. The instruction manual has been redesigned for improved clarity and readability.\
The molded color of the carrier-based aircraft has been changed from clear to gray for improved workability. \
Decal content has been upgraded.\
The three decal sheets include the chrysanthemum crest for the bow, the waterline, the ship name markings for the stern (two types: gold and painted over in battleship gray), white lines on the deck, carrier aircraft markings, and the battleship flag.\
