The Full Hull Series “Aircraft Carrier Taiho” arrives with included wood deck decals.
The product features a full hull specification allowing reproduction down to the keel, and includes a display stand for enjoyment after completion.
The lower hull is constructed from a single molded part, with the propeller section and rudder as separate components.
In addition to the kit's included machine guns (triple-mounted/double-mounted/single-mounted), the kit includes precision machine gun parts with separate barrels and mounts.
The Type 96 25mm machine gun is a two-piece construction, allowing easy painting to differentiate the gunmetal barrel from the hull color base.
Regarding the flight deck, while there are various theories about latex or wooden decking, this product features a wooden deck.
The wooden deck decals are laser-cut to reproduce an irregular wood grain texture.
They are pre-cut to fit the deck parts and feature a pre-printed white centerline.
The sheets are finished extremely thin; simply peel off the backing paper to apply them directly.
Included are etching parts to reproduce flight deck details.
These etching parts include elevators, arresting gear, and landing arresting devices.
