Description
Fujimi Models - Kan NEXT Series - Imperial Japanese Navy Kagerō-class Destroyer - Pre-painted - 350 Kan NX-4
Updated Specifications. Display Base Stylishly Renewed.
Based on the wartime appearance at the outbreak of the Pacific War in 1941, featuring the external electrical wiring that supported the subsequent rapid advance.
Reproduces the sleek appearance from before the wartime modifications, from December 1941 to around 1942.
□ Finished product measures approximately 34 cm in an impressive 1/350 scale.
□ Reproduces the appearance before porthole closures using dedicated hull parts.
□ Main guns feature the configuration before the No. 2 turret was converted to machine guns, with three turrets mounted.
□ All five sides of the main turrets are reproduced using slide molds. □ Multi-color injection molding: Gray is modeled after the slightly lighter Maizuru Naval Arsenal color, with pre-colored sections for linoleum, hull bottom, propellers, etc. □ Detailed color separation and color expression are achieved using included high-adherence real-color decals, allowing easy assembly without painting.
□As a bonus for painters, decals are included.
The decals feature Kagero's stern name and side names.
Additionally, to enable reproduction of other ships, stern names, side names, and the destroyer squadron number (17) for the 17th Destroyer Squadron (Urakaze, Isokaze, Hamakaze, Tanikaze) are included.
(Please note: Due to part configuration, the piping shape beside the funnel differs slightly for Isokaze.)
□The product is designed to allow differentiation between 5 ships depending on assembly.
□Stability improved with a redesigned shape. Lower center of gravity and increased contact area enhance stability.
□Molded in black, consisting of 4 parts total.
□ The horizontal surface features a smooth finish on one side and a textured engraving on the other. Painting it blue allows you to create a wave effect with this reversible part design.
The KanNEXT series is a plastic kit designed to make building ship models easier while achieving realistic results.
