The Kantai NEXT Series Battleship Kongo arrives with etching parts included.\
The lead ship of the Kongo-class battleships, “Kongo,” was the world's first battleship to mount 36cm guns. Built in Britain, it underwent two major refits and participated in major Pacific War naval battles. \
Utilizing her exceptional speed, she performed diverse roles from direct escort of carrier task forces to bombardment of land facilities.\
In November 1944, she was sunk by submarine torpedoes in the Taiwan Strait.\
Color-coded parts for sections like the hull, flight deck, and keel allow realistic reproduction of Kongo without painting. \
Designed with snap-fit construction requiring no glue.\
Recreates the late 1944 state during the Battle of Leyte Gulf, when anti-aircraft armament was maximized against US air superiority.\
Hull color reproduced with molded color matching the darkest “Sasebo Dockyard Color” scheme. \
Wooden deck and linoleum deck sections are separate parts with distinct color tones, drastically reducing masking work for painters.\
