The Kongo in 1/350 scale arrives in a limited production version, complete with crew figures to add movement and flair to your display.\

The lead ship of the Kongo-class battleships, the “Kongo,” was completed in 1913. After undergoing two major refits, she participated in the Pacific War, deploying to various theaters and seeing active service. \
She was sunk by torpedoes from a U.S. submarine in the Taiwan Strait in 1944.\
Build with the detailed sculpting only possible in this large 1/350 scale.\
The product depicts her appearance during Operation Tei-1 in October 1944.\
Main parts feature a gray molded color simulating the Sasebo Naval Arsenal color scheme. Clear molded parts are provided for the bridge windows and searchlight signal lamps. The model reproduces the area from the main deck up to the Type 21 radar on the top deck, including the forward section extending to the second turret connected to the shelter deck. The main gun barrels feature an elevating mechanism. The canvas sections are separate parts for easier painting.\
Includes finely detailed parts for the 25mm machine guns and 12.7cm anti-aircraft guns.\
Includes a Zero-type seaplane as the carrier aircraft.\
Includes pre-cut paper decals for signal flags, the naval ensign, and the commander's flag.\
Includes a ship name decal for display purposes. \
Decals include carrier aircraft markings and national flags. \
Includes 353 figure parts (2 types/5 runners total) for officers, sailors, and sailors in work uniforms (summer/winter).\
