Description
Ishigaki Sangyo - Takoyaki Maker - Width 24cm x Depth 22.2cm x Height 4.7cm - Portable Stovetop - Handle Included <Product Features>
▪️A cast iron plate that lets you make restaurant-quality takoyaki at home.
▪️The cast iron makes takoyaki crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
▪️Can be cooked on a portable stovetop or gas stove.
▪️The more you use it, the more oil it absorbs and the easier it becomes to use.
<Before Use>
▪️Wash the unit thoroughly with water or hot water.
▪️Wipe off any excess water and heat it empty over low heat for 1-3 minutes, then let it cool.
▪️Apply approximately 3mm of oil to the bottom of each hole and a thin layer of oil to the flat surfaces.
▪️Heat it over low to medium heat for 1-2 minutes, turning off the heat when white smoke appears. (Do not leave it unattended until the heat is turned off.)
▪️Once it has cooled sufficiently, absorb the oil with kitchen paper and rinse with water. After washing, wipe off any excess water and allow to dry on low heat for 1-2 minutes.
▪️The oil film may disappear when cleaning before subsequent uses, so avoid using detergent and wash with water whenever possible. <Precautions for Use>
▪️If the oil is not absorbed properly, the takoyaki may burn. Please use the following procedure. The oil will absorb and prevent burning with use.
▪️Before cooking, add oil (about 2mm into the bottom of each hole) and wait at least 1 minute (approximately 180°C) after heating before adding the fillings.
▪️Adding the fillings when the unit is still warm will cause them to stick.
▪️When heating, place the unit in the center of the stove and use low to medium heat.
▪️Storing food inside the unit may cause rust.
▪️Because it is made of metal, it cannot be used in the microwave.
▪️During and after cooking, the unit and handles will become very hot, so please use a microwave mitt or similar to avoid burns.
▪️When placing the pot on a table, always use a thick trivet.
▪️Do not subject the pot to sudden temperature changes, such as pouring cold water over a hot pot. This may cause deformation. <Care after Use>
▪️After use, let the pot cool, then wash it with a sponge and water or mild detergent.
▪️After cleaning, remove excess water and cook it empty over low heat. Turn off the heat, apply a thin layer of oil with kitchen paper, and store it in a dry place. <Care if the paint peels>
1. Scrub off any peeling paint with a hard sponge and clean it.
2. After wiping off any water, apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the entire inside and heat over low to medium heat until it becomes hot.
3. Turn off the heat and let the oil soak in until it cools.
*Take care to avoid burns when handling. The surface is coated with a safe resin. If ingested, it will be excreted without being absorbed, so there is no need to worry. *If the peeled paint area becomes rusty, scrub the rusted area with a hard sponge. Then, repeat steps 2 and 3 above. <Other Notes> *In rare cases, food may turn black. This is caused by a combination of iron and minerals in the food, and is not harmful to humans. Brand: Ishigaki.
