The GW-A1100 utilizes a state-of-the-art magnetic sensor to quickly and easily measure compass direction. This magnetic sensor is 95% smaller than previous models, allowing it to be incorporated into a high-density movement. The second hand, which indicates compass direction, is also made of carbon fiber, a first for a G-SHOCK. This prevents deformation due to impacts and reduces weight, ensuring reliable movement when various functions are operating. We also paid attention to basic specifications such as ease of operation and visibility. In addition to enlarging the side buttons, we adopted a metal and resin composite crown for improved grip. Operation of the lock, release, pull, and turn functions has been improved. This Gravitymaster watch boasts the largest 35.65mm wide face in the Gravitymaster series, a four-layered dial, a three-dimensional inset dial inspired by the "Glass Cockpit"* motif, and large 3D-shaped indexes for improved visibility. The crystal is made of anti-reflective sapphire crystal for easy viewing.
