Product Introduction
GSI Creos “Mr. Color Clear Green Gloss 10ml” Hobby Paint.
Mr. Color has been the standard in model paints for over 40 years since its release.
It is highly regarded by modelers around the world. ・With a wide range of colors, it can be used for painting numerous model genres, such as characters and scale models (tanks, airplanes, ships). ・It can be used with a wide range of pigments and metallic particles, and many of them have better color development than water-based paints. (Especially metallic and blue-based paints) ・Being solvent-based, it dries quickly. ・The dried paint film is hard, achieving a beautiful glossy finish. ・The resin used provides a substantial feel (thickness), forming an optimal paint film. ・When painting with Mr. Color, dilute appropriately using Mr. Color Thinner. Mr. Color Thinner can also be used to clean brushes and airbrushes after use. ・Compared to water-based paints, the viscosity is higher. If brush application is difficult, add Mr. Color Thinner. (Guideline: Paint : Thinner = 1 : up to 1) Additionally, mixing in a few drops of the dedicated Mr. Retarder Mild will slow drying speed and reduce brush streaks. ・For airbrush painting, dilute according to the paint's viscosity, using a ratio of approximately 1 part paint to up to 2 parts thinner as a guideline. When using an airbrush, do not apply all at once. Limit the first coat to a light overall application, then apply thin layers in two or three separate coats.
・For gloss-based Mr. Color, adjust gloss level using C30 Flat Base. For a semi-gloss finish, mix in 5-10% Flat Base by volume. Mixing in 10-20% Flat Base by volume will produce a matte finish. Adjusting the Flat Base ratio allows for various gloss levels. Caution: ・This paint contains organic solvents. Ensure adequate ventilation during and after use. ・Cannot be mixed with other model paints besides Mr. Color and Mr. Color GX. ※When applied to ABS resin parts, the paint may penetrate the resin, causing the part to become brittle and potentially crack. Please carefully check assembly instructions and part runner markings, and avoid painting “ABS resin parts”.
