GSI Creos “Acrylon Color Fluorescent Green Fluorescent 10ml” This is a model paint.
Acrylon is a new generation water-based emulsion paint that aims to improve safety and the painting environment by solving problems such as slow drying time, weak paint film, and odor from organic solvents.
・After drying, it forms a water-resistant and solvent-resistant paint film.
・We have achieved an ultra-low odor model paint that minimizes the use of organic solvents.
・Despite being water-based, it dries quickly for high workability.
・Includes gloss finishes, previously difficult with conventional water-based emulsion paints.
・The dried coating film exhibits a certain degree of flexibility.
・Being low-solvent, it is less likely to corrode thin, molded ABS parts that are prone to damage by solvents.
・Unlike solvent-based paints that dissolve and adhere to plastic resin, this paint adheres through its own adhesion strength. It can be applied without a primer even to highly solvent-resistant materials like urethane resin. Can also be applied to polycarbonate. However, performance improves with proper surface preparation, including primer application, for better adhesion.
・For brush application, use undiluted. If application is difficult, add 1-2 drops of water or Acrylon Retarder (recommended). Be cautious: excessive dilution causes pigment to run, leading to uneven color on the painted surface.
・For airbrush application, use Acrylon Airbrush Thinner (dilution ratio approx. 1:0.3). When diluting with water, add it gradually and apply with the air pressure set as low as possible. Note that adding too much water may cause the paint to be repelled from the surface.
Brushes, airbrushes, and other tools used for painting can be cleaned with water before the paint dries. Once dry, it will not dissolve in water; clean with Acrylon-specific tool cleaner. *The clear coat and top layer of Acrylon may appear milky white, but they become transparent upon drying. *Can be applied over Mr. Color or enamel paints. However, it cannot be used over old-label water-based hobby colors or other manufacturers' water-based acrylic paints, as cracking will occur. ※ Cannot be mixed with water-based hobby colors or Mr. Color. ※ Once hardened or solidified, Acryjon cannot be re-dissolved.
