Description
SUDO - Starpet - Baked Medaka Soil - S-5996 Creates a gentle and safe water environment. SUDO Baked Medaka Soil, Brown, 2 Liters, Suitable for Medaka. Features:
▪️ This substrate (baked soil) is specifically designed for raising medaka, creating a gentle and safe water environment suitable for raising and breeding medaka.
▪️ Uncolored natural soil is solidified into round granules and then baked.
▪️ While maintaining gentle water quality suitable for raising and spawning medaka, its porous structure allows filtration bacteria to easily settle, purifying contaminated water and creating a safe breeding environment. Volume: 2L (approx. 1.9kg) Material: Natural soil Chemical ingredients and properties of "Medaka Baked Soil": Silica anhydride (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), ferric oxide (Fe2O3), calcium oxide (CaO), magnesium oxide (MgO) Particle size (approx.): 1-3mm pH: Weakly acidic Country of origin: Japan Instructions for use: *Before use, rinse lightly with water to remove any fine powder or dust. Pressing too hard may crush the particles. *Spread the product over the entire bottom of the aquarium, pot, or other container. *Spread water slowly to prevent the product from floating up. *Placing the product on a surface such as a styrene board, wooden board, or plastic bag, and then slowly pouring water over it, will minimize floating up and cloudiness.
▪️For aquariums: For a 30cm aquarium (approx. 12L), use 0.5-1L. For a 45cm aquarium (approx. 35L), use 1-2L. For a 60cm aquarium (approx. 55L), use 1.5-3L.
▪️For pots: For a 20cm diameter pot, use 0.5-1L. For a 30cm diameter pot, use 1-2L. For a 40cm diameter pot, use 1.5-3L. Caution: This product is a substrate material designed specifically for raising medaka. Do not use for any other purpose. *After setting up, ensure the water quality is suitable for medaka before adding them. *Do not use with newly hatched fry, as they may get trapped between the pellets. *Slight turbidity may occur immediately after setting up, but this is harmless to medaka and other living organisms. The turbidity will disappear within a few hours to a few days, resulting in clear water. *This product absorbs the active ingredients of fish medicines. If you are medicating your medaka, move them to a separate tank along with the aquarium water before treatment. This product is adjusted to maintain a slightly acidic aquarium water when using tap water. Using water with extremely high or low pH levels may not achieve a slightly acidic aquarium water balance. Strong water currents, such as from a filter, may cause particles to be stirred up when they come into contact with the product. Adjust the direction of the filter outlet so that they are not directly exposed to water currents. When using a pump-based filter, sucking the product through the intake port may cause the pump to malfunction. Use a fine-mesh net to scoop up any particles that float to the surface of the water. When changing the water, do so slowly and carefully to prevent cloudiness. Replace with a new substrate depending on the degree of contamination. Unlike gravel, this substrate is made of baked soil, which is not a permanent substrate. Replace with a new one when the particles begin to crumble. Brand: SUDO Material: Natural soil This substrate (baked soil) is designed specifically for raising medaka, creating a gentle and safe aquatic environment suitable for raising and breeding medaka. This uncolored natural soil is solidified into round granules and then fired. The granules are durable and long-lasting. The porous structure allows filtering bacteria to settle and work easily, purifying polluted water. 4974212059964 SUDO StarPet Baked Ball Soil for Medaka Fish, 2L, Brown, S-5996 (text created at , 2025-05-10)
