We've created a plastic model of Kuroda Kanbei's helmet, currently featured in the 2014 NHK Taiga drama, using a new mold. This unique shape stems from the trend among Sengoku daimyo for distinctive helmets called “shikabuto” (shaped helmets). Kōbē's inverted bowl-shaped red gōsu-nari kabuto is particularly famous. Using authentic fabric and cords, this new addition to the Famous Generals' Helmets Series achieves a finish surpassing typical plastic models.
