Description
Nodahoro Enamelware - WS-S Square L - White Series
About the Manufacturer
Enamel combines the beauty and hygiene of glass with the durability of iron—essentially the best of both worlds. Its roots trace back to the mask of King Tutankhamun. Nodahoro Enamelware, synonymous with domestic enamelware, has continued producing this material in its own factory. Founded in 1934 (Showa 9), the company faced closure during the war but reestablished itself post-war, continuing to craft enamelware with a simple, warm charm. In recent years, as enamelware's merits are being reevaluated, hits include the cast iron enamel “BRICO” developed jointly with Taiwan's Brico Co., and the simple, functional storage containers of the “White Series.” The product line, evoking nostalgia while offering a fresh feel, comes in various shapes and colors, allowing selection based on preference and use. Product Introduction Within the White Series, the most basic square “Square” type comes in three sizes: S, M, and L. The L size holds approximately 6 servings of soup, 1kg of miso, or enough for making yogurt from 1 liter of milk.

Additionally, if the glass-like surface chips due to impact or dropping, the iron base (dull silver color) may be exposed. If moisture, acid, or salt remains on these areas, rust may form.
