Fine-MEGURU-Bamboo Toothbrush-Castor Resin Bristles-MBA-03
The toothbrush handle is made from a material blending polylactic acid resin and bamboo micro-powder. This results in lower combustion calories when incinerated after use and reduced CO2 emissions compared to conventional resins. Furthermore, it uses plant-based materials that grow within a year, making it a sustainable toothbrush. The bamboo is grown under our own management in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, and all toothbrushes are carefully crafted in domestic factories. Due to the nature of natural materials, the handle gradually decomposes and loses strength over time. Therefore, we have established an industry-first quality retention period of two years. Furthermore, the packaging uses “bamboo paper” made from 100% Japanese bamboo.
We use a 100% plant-based resin derived from castor oil seeds. Castor oil has long been used in cosmetics and soaps. The bristles are flexible, colorless, and transparent, comparable to petroleum-based nylon, offering an identical brushing experience. Recommended for vegans.
