Yanoman-1000 Piece-Rainbow House-Jigsaw Puzzle with Instructions
Product Description
This is one of three poster artworks created in the 1950s for the NK department store in Stockholm, Sweden.
The poster was discovered around 2016, with interpretations added by those involved. The Moomin family is building a treehouse atop a chestnut tree. It's an adventurous spot near a bridge over a cliff, overlooking a volcano spewing fire into the summer sky and the forest below. A balloon heads straight for the sun, and birds fly overhead. Mymla is knitting socks, while Snufkin dreams of adventures beyond the rainbow. Sniff is clumsy again, knocking over the entire box of nails... This can cause unexpected injury.
