This is one of three poster artworks created in the 1950s for the NK department store in Stockholm, Sweden.
The poster was discovered around 2016, with interpretations added by those involved.
A full moon rises over a forest lake. This is the secret island where the Moomintroll and friends go every night for a feast. Gentle light and the delicious smell of Snufkin's freshly baked pancakes draw the gaze of tiny creatures watching intently. An owl hoots atop a tent, while in the grass lies a cake made by Mymla and Little My. Deep in the forest, someone plays the lute. Safety Warning ・Be careful not to accidentally swallow puzzle pieces. There is a risk of choking. ・Never give to children under 3 years old due to the risk of ingestion. ・Do not use this product for any purpose other than its intended use, such as throwing parts at people.
