Forum Trajanum, a game by Stefan Feld themed around ancient Roman city-building, arrives in Japanese. Develop your Colonia and contribute to Emperor Trajan's Forum construction.
Emperor Trajan is about to complete a monument destined to endure for eternity—the Forum Trajanum.
This will be the largest and greatest imperial forum in the history of the Roman Empire.
While the structure is nearly complete, serving as an impressive display of Trajan's success as the “Supreme Emperor,”
it also cultivates the happiness and honor of the noble Roman citizens living within and beyond the city.
Players must optimally develop their Colonia while sending envoys to Rome to report their progress,
contribute to the construction of the Forum Trajanum, and thereby secure aid from Rome for their Colonia.
You must strive to expand your Colonia in the best possible way while also maintaining ties with Rome to ensure support from the capital and the Emperor. During each round, acquire the best building sites within your Colonia's street grid, obtain vital resources from them, and gain additional abilities through your citizens. Then, perform construction actions to earn victory points and other benefits. At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points wins.
