'The Erased Message' is a communication deduction game where players search for the culprit among numerous suspects depicted on a map, using incomplete messages left by the victim as clues.
In ‘The Erased Message’, players are divided into “Culprit”, ‘Victim’, and “Investigators”.
Over 4 rounds, the Investigators attempt to identify the Culprit's true identity based on clues drawn by the Victim.
If the culprit is found, the investigators and victim win.
However, the culprit can erase parts of the victim's drawings, making it challenging.
If the culprit remains unidentified by the end of the fourth round, the culprit wins.
Game Procedure is as follows:
(1) Victim Leaves Clues The Criminal selects a suspect from the crime scene map. The Victim then has 30 seconds to draw as many pictures or words as possible on a 3x3 grid board. These must be clues that help identify the Criminal.
(2) The culprit erases evidence
The culprit erases a portion of the message, corresponding to the number of rounds played.
(3) The investigator selects a suspect
The investigator searches the map for the suspect based on the erased, incomplete message.
Can the investigator player use their sharp eyes to spot the suspect in the crowd?
