Hobby Japan - Potion Explosion: Second Edition - 30-45 min - Ages 14+ - Board Game
Potion Explosion, a puzzle-like strategy game where you create potions by matching the colors of falling marbles, returns as Potion Explosion: Second Edition with a plastic dispenser.
To concoct potions, each turn you take one marble from the dispenser, causing same-color ingredients to collide and explode (and you get them too). The bigger the explosion, the faster your concoction will progress. Each potion requires 4 to 7 ingredients, represented by the holes on the potion tile itself. Place marbles on the corresponding colored potion tile. Once all holes have a marble of the required color, the potion is complete. Each potion has a point value determined by the number of ingredients needed and its magical power.
Whenever a player completes three of the same potion or completes five different types of potions,
that player receives one skill token worth 4 points.
Once the specified number of skill tokens is awarded, the game ends.
The player with the most points wins.
