Donut Line is a strategic game for two players. The goal is to line up five of your colored donuts vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. While the objective seems simple, every move is crucial to avoid giving your opponent an advantage. Players must line up their donuts without giving their opponent a chance to turn the tables.
To start the game, randomly combine the four game boards. Each player prepares 15 donuts.
Each time a player places a donut, it indicates the direction in which the next player must place their donut. (Each space on the board displays lines indicating direction.) These lines determine the possible moves each player can make on their turn, limiting their options. Placing your donut between two of your opponent's donuts is particularly powerful. This changes the color of both adjacent opponent donuts to your own, ensuring you have at least three of your own donuts in a row (five in a row wins), potentially turning the game around.
