Description
Pit Road - Skywave Series - Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Destroyer - DD-132 - J78
The Hatsuyuki-class destroyers were the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's first all-gas turbine-powered vessels. As multi-purpose destroyers capable of carrying helicopters, twelve ships entered service during the 1980s.
Six Hatsuyuki-class ships have already been decommissioned, with four serving as training vessels. However, the 11th ship, Asayuki, commissioned in 1987, remains active as a destroyer today.
The kit includes hull bottom parts, satellite antennas, mast trusses, and other components to recreate the Asayuki in its latest configuration.
Includes new full-hull hull bottom and various satellite antenna parts.
Includes one SH-60J anti-submarine patrol helicopter.
Includes new ship identification markings and training ship number decals.
Decals for Shirayuki, Haruyuki, Yamayuki, Setoyuki, Asayuki, and Shimayuki included.
Overall length: 196mm.
Contains one ship.
Full hull/ocean model configuration selectable.
