Product Introduction
The “Taigei”-class submarines, as successors to the “Soryu”-class, saw their lead vessel ‘Taigei’ commissioned in March 2022, followed by the second vessel “Hakugei” in March the following year.
While resembling the Soryu class externally, it features improved submerged endurance through the installation of lithium-ion batteries enabling higher capacity and output.
