When to Change Sizes Consider moving up one size when: Belly Button: When the belly button starts to show through the diaper. Waist: When the waist feels tight after securing the tape tabs to the adhesive tabs. Legs: When red marks appear around the legs even after adjusting the size. How to Properly Apply Pampers (Please read before use.) 1. Spread the diaper flat and raise the poop guard. Position it while ensuring the poop guard is fully upright. 2. Stretch the side panels moderately. The sides stretch, so stretching them for a snug fit won't constrict your baby. 3. Secure the tapes to the tabs. Fasten the tapes symmetrically, avoiding direct skin contact. 4. Adjust the leg and waist areas. Folds inward can cause leaks. The waist should allow one finger to fit comfortably. \
