Hobby Japan - For a Crown - For 3-5 Players - Ages 8 and Up - Board Game

This is a multilingual edition of the cooperative deck-building game “For a Crown,” including Japanese.
In ‘For a Crown,’ players aim to collect more rubies than other players and ultimately claim the crown.
To do this, players hire one mercenary card with various abilities, paying money (or rubies), starting with the player with the most influence. They then place it face-down in the shared deck, using their own card sleeve.
Once all players have hired and placed their mercenaries, the shared deck is shuffled. Cards are then revealed one at a time from the top. When your mercenary is revealed, you receive its effect—
some grant rubies, some steal rubies from other players' treasure chests, some increase your influence within the court, and some spread ill repute among other players. Some event cards may reference your current influence ranking, potentially causing unexpected upheaval. Once all cards are revealed, the round ends. And of course, the previous round's cards become the new common draw pile. Can you gather more rubies than other players by the end of the 4th round?
This fast-paced game involves reading other players' intentions, strategizing which cards to add to your deck, and dealing with unpredictable luck.
