Description
Arabia-Apila-Plate-approx. 21cm-1088647
Country of origin: Thailand
A timeless design and poetic design collection is finally being re-released.
Designed in 1971 by Birger Kaipiainen, one of Arabia's leading ceramic artists, it was only produced for a short period at the time.
This time, Arabia is reissuing the fresh green and retro-themed Apila motif, bringing back a classic design loved across generations.
The simple and clear form of the Apila series is a design that harmonizes nostalgia and modern charm, reminiscent of Kaipiainen's masterpiece "Paratiisi" collection.
For this re-release, designer Inkeri Leivo supervised the project, adjusting it to a shape suitable for modern production without losing the artistry of the original version.
The use of decoration and color in Apila demonstrates Kaipiainen's high artistry, and by skillfully using shades of green, it finishes in a timeless design that combines depth and minimalism.
Depending on the product, small black spots or dents may be recognized, but there is no problem with the quality.
