Product Description
Kinetic “1/35 IDF M109 Self-Propelled Howitzer Doher/Rochef” Plastic Model Kit.
The M109 self-propelled howitzer is a second-generation post-war self-propelled gun developed by the United States alongside the M108.
Production of this vehicle began in 1962 as the successor to the M44 self-propelled howitzer, with the series' total production estimated at around 10,000 units.
The M109 Ro'eh is the version deployed by the Israel Defense Forces in the 1970s. Initially deployed with the short-barreled M126 155mm howitzer, it was later upgraded to the long-barreled version.
Additionally, cargo racks were added to the front of the turret and around the hull, increasing the amount of ammunition it could carry.
The M109 Doher is a vehicle featuring unique IDF modifications deployed in the 1990s. These include an updated commander's cupola, an inertial navigation system, and enhanced NBC protection.
