Description
Far-East Amusement Research
F.E.A.R. presents a new TRPG themed around martial arts.
In ‘Kenzen Musou’, players become martial artists of various disciplines to resolve conflicts.
The system employs SRS, allowing anyone to easily enjoy stories reminiscent of fighting games or martial arts manga as a TRPG.
Characters are defined by “Style Classes” representing unarmed combat disciplines from around the world, such as karate, judo, pro wrestling, boxing, Baguazhang, and Muay Thai. These are combined with “Power Classes” like Strength, Speed, Technique, or Tricky to create fighters capable of diverse techniques including strikes, throws, and joint locks.
Furthermore, PCs can accumulate Ki Cards to unleash powerful secret techniques.
To recreate one-on-one combat scenarios, PCs observing the fight can also gain Ki Cards through roleplay, adding excitement to the experience.
