This glaze for full firing provides the feel of a painting pigment, suitable for raised painting or brush application on bisque-fired clay.
Firing temperature is oxidizing at 1200°C to 1250°C.
When applied with a brush over lines drawn with black crayon, it repels the crayon, creating sharp, defined edges. It can also be used as a raised paint to color areas where patterns from white transfer paper have been transferred onto the bisque. In both cases, brush on transparent glaze over the background areas outside the design.
Mixing colors is possible, but do not mix red with any color other than white.
