Product Introduction
Sanriku Railway 36-101 Series “Kit, Zutto-go” was a vehicle wrapped in cherry blossom designs as part of the “Kit, Zutto Project,” led by Nestlé Japan to support the Sanriku Railway, operating from March 2012 until May 2013. Afterwards, the wrapping was removed, and it returned to service in its “standard color scheme”. The Sanriku Railway 36-105 “Kit, Zutto 2” is the second vehicle wrapped with cherry blossom designs through the “Kit, Zutto Project”. This vehicle (36-105) was selected for the second wrapping project because it was also called the “Miracle Car” for having escaped the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster. It has been operating as “Kit, Zutto No. 2” since April 2013.
