For the beginner and advanced levels, we chose from 7,700 basic words that children should learn while they are still in elementary school. On the reading cards, the grade level that you want to learn the word for is written in the upper right corner of the word.
For the "beginner" level, we chose from basic words for 1st to 3rd graders, and we selected 30 words that are relatively easy, including simple words that even 5-year-olds can play with.
For the "advanced" level, we chose from basic words for 4th to 6th graders. We selected 30 words that are slightly difficult, and even adults have trouble saying the meaning clearly.
For the "advanced" level, we chose from approximately 40,000 words other than basic words. It's not just about learning. We have selected 30 words, focusing on fun words for play, katakana words, and popular phrases.
The "Homemade" cards are blank. Different people have different words they know, important words, and words they want to learn/have their children learn. We have prepared 30 homemade cards so that you can create cards that include words that are important to each of you.
Please try flipping through the dictionary, searching for words, and making your own karuta.
