The Zero Fighter Model 21, which served as the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy from its spectacular early victories in the Pacific War to the fierce battles in the Central Pacific, continued to be widely used in training squadrons and similar units even after being withdrawn from frontline service. We've carefully selected distinctive Zero fighter 21-type liveries, including those from units with illustrious combat histories and unique paint schemes like those used by training squadrons. The decal set includes five carefully chosen unit decals plus a “Zero Fighter 21-Type Hinomaru Decal”. This set provides enough decals for one aircraft out of five 1/144 scale Zero Fighter 21-Type kits. The box is designed as a treasure chest to fully immerse you in the world of Yukihisa Fujita. Two types of box illustrations by Yukihisa Fujita are available: a poster-style version and an illustration showing the decal set contents. The box dividers are also filled with numerous characters like NASA-chan, Lucky the Black Cat, Captain Yamane, and the Zero fighter Kotetsu, along with stylized depictions of the Zero Fighter Model 21 and five types of side-view illustrations. Each box contains parts for 6 x 1/144 scale Zero Fighter Model 21s.
