Product Introduction
The Nekoyama Forest Railway is a forest railway operating in the Nekoyama mountain range, located south of the Tomii Electric Railway's Neko-ya Line.
The Nekoyama mountain range, producing high-quality timber, has long been a thriving forestry region. A forest railway was constructed to efficiently transport the wood.
Timber transport utilized two routes: from Osugimoto Station (Osugi Logging Yard) on the Neko Line and from the coastal Noda Logging Yard.
Operations are managed by the Nekoyama Forest Management Office.
The Neko-yama Forest Railway model is based on the assumption of a non-electrified narrow gauge with a 762mm track gauge. It is a 1/80 scale model using 9mm gauge track.
By using the separately sold N gauge running parts and power unit, it can run on N gauge (9mm) track.
The TM-TR02 (2-axle electric car B) power unit for Railway Collection N gauge is compatible with the diesel locomotive. The TT-03R trailer conversion parts are compatible with the log car and passenger car.
※Converting the diesel locomotive into a trailer or powering the log car/passenger car is not possible.
Please use TOMIX FineTrack N gauge 9mm rails for running.
