This plastic model assembly kit recreates the heavily armored Soviet KV-2 tank, which troubled the German forces during World War II, at 1/72 scale.
The tall turret, nicknamed “Gigant” by German soldiers, and the 152mm howitzer mounted upon it make for an imposing model.
The kit features a simplified parts count, making it accessible even for beginners, while still achieving sufficient realism in the reproduction of the turret, hull, and running gear. The tracks use an easy-to-assemble belt system. The large turret shape is faithfully reproduced, and details like hull bolts and weld marks add to the authentic feel. The completed turret can still rotate, and the gun barrel can be elevated and depressed. Additionally, the commander's hatch can be assembled open or closed, and one tank crew figure is included. Markings are for summer 1941.
