Description
Kyosho Racing Car Phantom PZF Electric Radio Control Product Introduction \\ The hybrid 1/12 racer with 4WD and 3P suspension is finally available as a kit after over 30 years. nIn the 1980s, 1/12 scale EP (electric) on-road car racing saw fierce competition between 4WD models using ladder chains and 2WD cars featuring superior road-following 3-point (3P) suspension. \
Among these, Kyosho's Phantom EP-4WD series 4WD cars demonstrated overwhelming combat power not only on the popular parking lot special courses of the era but also on permanent asphalt circuits. Meanwhile, the rear 2WD Plasma series also excelled, leveraging its simple drive style and light weight, particularly shining in races where battery consumption was key. \
Born from this environment was the so-called “Plasma Phantom,” combining the Plasma's main chassis and rear suspension with the Phantom's drivetrain. \
Driven by Kyosho Works drivers, the Plasma Phantom leveraged the advantages of 4WD and triple-pivot suspension to achieve strong results in major races. However, kits for this specification were not sold at the time, requiring users to gather parts and convert their own vehicles. \
Time passed, and KOSHO reissued the Phantom series and Plasma. With both cars now available, the kit version of the Plasma Phantom was finally realized. \
The new model, officially named the Phantom PZF T-33, is not merely a fusion of the reissued Plasma and Phantom. It incorporates newly developed parts, resulting in a luxurious, high-performance machine surpassing even those of the 1980s.\
Furthermore, the T-33 body, renowned for its quick handling characteristics and competitive edge in races, has been revived, expanding the body choice options. \
Compared to completing the Plasma Phantom using the reissued Phantom & Plasma kits, the new Phantom PZF offers a more cost-effective path. It can be called the dream machine that brings the drive of that unattainable works model to life at a whole new level. \
\
Kyosho Vintage Series No. 19 marks the first-ever full kit release of the special 4WD model combining Plasma and Phantom, popular in the late 1980s.\
Features a ladder chain-type 4WD system delivering high-level traction even on low-grip surfaces.\
The standard body is a reproduction of the T-33, renowned for its sharp handling characteristics. Compatible with existing Phantom & Plasma series models.\
Features a high-rigidity carbon-fiber main chassis & upper plate, paired with an FRP rear A-bar that provides optimal flex to enhance tire grip.\
Completely newly developed ball-connect rear A-bar joint.\
Standard equipped with 1.5mm thick spacers for the front axle mount, allowing adjustment of minimum ground clearance.
