Use this rust inhibitor and topcoat for iron and tinplate surfaces such as gates, window frames, steel frames, shutters, colored tin roofs, tin fences, gutters, and tin siding. It provides both rust prevention and topcoating in one step. The silky-gloss finish effectively protects the coating from rust even without an additional topcoat. It can be topped with water-based paints as well as various oil-based paints. (Cannot be used with strong solvent-based topcoats such as two-component paints or lacquer-type paints.) Thinner: Tap water (also for cleaning tools)
