Based on the DW-5000, the origin of G-SHOCK, it realizes a full-metal body. Hard stainless steel material is used for the bezel and band. The hollow structure, a core G-SHOCK technology, was re-examined, evolving the shock-resistant construction. A fine resin cushioning layer is inserted between the metal bezel and the main case, creating a new shock-resistant structure capable of withstanding impacts even with a full metal case.
